How to configure Linux Compiz effects in Ubuntu 12 LTS

Hi Today I’ll guide you how to get compiz 3D EFFECTS in UBUNTU

Its very easy process

Basically,

Compiz-Fusion adds some very sexy desktop effects to Ubuntu. To easily customize these effects, it is vital to use the Compiz Config Setting Manager. Here’s how to install this great utilitiy:

1. Open a terminal window.

2. Execute the following command:

sudo aptitude install compizconfig-settings-manager

To open the Settings Manager, click System, mouseover Preferences and select Advanced Desktop Effects Settings. You will be presented with a large selection of effects to choose from.

Desktop Cube Rotation

If you want to enable desktop cube rotation you need to make sure you have selected Desktop Cube,Cube Rotation options in the above step,Now you need to select Cube Reflection and Deformation

Now you need to double click on Cube Reflection and Deformation option to configure in the below screen clickn on deformation tab select Cylinder or sphere click on Back tab and close
